I just learned a good theory.
If you're not sure whether you are truly interested in something/someone, try giving it up completely and see if you care about it.
If you think about it all the time and worried about what you gave up, Congratulations, you have found something you truly care about.
If you don't, you know what it means.
That means that you don't really give a damn about it already.
It's a very effective method, provided that you don't lie to yourself obviously.
