This morning a lecturer of mine advised us to "study like HELL" in order to be successful in life in the future.
I was like, "Well yeah, I've been there, done that, and am so sick of the outcome that I can prove to you that your theory is not accurate and precise at all."
A higher percentage PERHAPS, but the factors of "how well you did academically" and "how successful and rich you are in your future" ARE NOT RELATED AT ALL, either.
Of course I didn't say those out aloud to the lecturer, but it's screaming inside my head so loudly that I have to get it out here in my blog.
It's a wonder how people deceive themselves with excuses like that.
