San Francisco!!! =D

Had dinner at Pizza San Francisco!!

:D

Orange Punch
I totally love this combination of orange, milk and soda.
I don't know milk can be mixed in this way
and won't cause stomachache xD

Mushroom Bruschetta
If you ever get the chance to stop by this restaurant,
this is a must-order. So creamy and so mushroomy it's heavenly.

Santa Barbara Chicken
VERY fulfilling. Chicken meat stuffed with shrimp. Yum.
Love the black pepper sauce. Not thick but nice.

San Francisco Pizza
Half calzone, half pizza. Chicken salami's the main attraction.

But I think the little pieces of baby tomatoes's a very
considerate touch. I love baby tomatoes =)

I still want some more Mushroom Bruschetta =(

Thank You God!!!

I passed CAT!!!

Am now officially ACCA student!!!

Oh god, thank you so so much.

And thank you to all those who helped me in passing CAT, all my lecturers, friends, everything, everyone.

Omg, I was shit scared this morning. I woke up at 9a.m. But I was too sleepy so I went back to sleep. Then I had a nightmare, which tells me that my T8, the audit paper, is 40 marks (50 marks is the passing mark). I woke up sweating, and got really damn scared, seriously. Because dreaming like that, might be good sign for other people, but definitely not for me, cuz I've had previous experience before and those dreams are affirmative instead of negative ones. So yeah, I was really really DAMN SCARED. I nearly wanna cry. It's almost as worse as knowing the real result, it's like you KNOW the result and you're WAITING for CONFIRMATION. And damn that's scary.

It took me forever to log into the website and view my results. The tension, I could've broke an artery. I felt like fainting even.

Seriously, I dowanna go through this kind of emotional roller coaster again. I'm really going to stop playing around in ACCA. Like one of my lecturers said, "you may play through the whole CAT and still pass if you're smart enough, but for ACCA you'd better stop having that assumption."

So yeah, I'm going to ground myself anyway (S: Hehe!!)

I've had a hard time earlier this year. I still couldn't believe things can change so drastically for me in just a week.

Thank you God for answering my prayers.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I couldn't thank you enough.

And I will take this as a lesson. A very, valuable lesson.

Yvonne..

It's funny... ...

...when things are so transparent to you that you see everything crystal clear.

It's like, being Oracle in the Matrix movie. Don't laugh.

And I like it. It feels like reaching a new level in a game.

Oh Well

We're done with Progress Test 1. But really, I don't really care what's going to happen to that. Seriously, what with our RESULTS for previous sem's final exam's coming out TOMORROW, who's gonna care about some test results? But anyway, in law test I think I got slaughtered, tax still okay, as for performance management, I so so love that paper, but I don't have enough time to write all my answer. I've got so much to write, there's not enough time. Maybe cuz I focused too much on the theory part in the previous questions. In the end my last question in performance management paper seemed a bit incomplete. Oh well, at least I've done my best in the available time.

Truthfully speaking, for final exam results which is coming out TOMORROW, I wouldn't be surprised if I fail one or two papers. But that doesn't mean that I don't wish for good results ie. PASS for all four papers. I prayed, wished, hoped, day and night for it since I-dunno-when. This is a critical stage. And if you fail something you need to go back and pay all those extra resit fees not to mention administration fees and also... well, you get the picture. It's just very painful. Please dear God at least let me pass through CAT so I can continue to worm my way through ACCA. Please, please, please. Oh well, tomorrow's less than 12 hours away. I might as well go to sleep now and speed up the long excruciating waiting process.

But I don't think I can sleep. I don't know. Oh my god, please help me out this time.

Fresh Prawn Wonton

Love it.

Better than any other wontons in the world.
Fresh prawn wonton...clear soup...mm...

A medium sized fresh prawn is wrapped into each wonton.

Their curry noodle's pretty damn good too!
I almost forgot the last time I ate such a perfect lovely curry noodle.

It's a roadside stall which has been there for years. A lot of loyal supporters, including me and my dad.

Panic

Um, sorry for the earlier post. That's because, I have less than 24 hours to cover about 80 pages of corporate and business law for my

LAW TEST TOMORROW.

Yes, shouting like that will sort of encourage me to go and face the music. I mean the book.

Yvonne..

The two sides of a quote...to me.

"If you love something let it go,
If it comes back to you it's yours,
If it doesn't, it never was."

Although I posted this like everywhere, but actually, I don't believe it 100%, 70% maybe, but definitely not 100%. I don't believe that when you love something you have to let it go, but doing things like this occasionally might be interesting. It signifies that you're sending a challenge to Fate, or whatever it is, and see if what happens in the end. It's a bet, effective for an unknown period of time, with an unknown amount of chips. Although obviously, you'll be on the side of losing, but knowing that there is this kind of hope in life is indeed tempting, and much aspiring.

But what if it doesn't?

Is it really never yours?

Now this, I suspect, is the creator-of-the-quote's effort in helping us to get through with life. Think logically, if something is yours for once, then it was. It's history and no one can change it. But knowing that can be suffering, and even perhaps painful to a certain extent, but really, it's all better that we pretend that it never was yours. And I thank the creator's kindness in strengthening our emotional power in a so-subtle way that we didn't even notice the fact that our understanding of what we perceived is being manipulated.

If I might put it simply, this quote is a reflection of advising someone who wanted to test if his or her suspicion or premonition is true. All too many times in life we are so troubled with many things that are ambiguous and maybe even controversial when it's placed on the table flat and clear for all to see: loyalty, justice, kindness, courage, prejudice, love. How do we know if --- ---

Jeez. What the hell am I writing.

A Long Tweet

I'm going to post a long tweet... I'm:
  • supposed to be studying for tax test tomorrow.
  • waiting for final exam result which will be here in about two weeks.
  • worrying for the aforementioned result.
  • going to finish reading Au Pairs.
  • missing my BFFs who are busy dealing with assignments, work, and personal aspiration (I really miss you guys like crazy!).
  • going to finish reading A Thousand Acres, but I have to return it on 11 Aug.
  • going to forget things I need to forget, and remember things I need to remember.
  • planning to bake something (pastry probably) after the tests.
  • SUPPOSED to be studying for tax test tomorrow NOW.
  • craving to hang out with my buddies right after the tests.
  • going to move on and stop looking backwards.
  • going to play Restaurant City and Fish a Fish like no tomorrow when tests are over.
  • going to find ADDICTION again (time to catch up on animes).
See this is why twitter's character limit of 140 is never enough.

"You Found Me"
by The Fray

I found God
On the corner of First and Amistad
Where the west
Was all but won
All alone
Smoking his last cigarette
I said, "Where you been?"
He said, "Ask anything".

Where were you
When everything was falling apart?
All my days
Were spent by the telephone
It never rang
And all I needed was a call
It never came
To the corner of First and Amistad

Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin' on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me

In the end
Everyone ends up alone
Losing her
The only one who's ever known
Who I am
Who I'm not, who I wanna be
No way to know
How long she will be next to me

Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin' on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me

Early morning
The city breaks
I've been callin'
For years and years and years and years
And you never left me no messages
Ya never send me no letters
You got some kinda nerve
Taking all my world

Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin' on the floor
Where were you? Where were you?
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin' on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me
Why'd you have to wait?
To find me, to find me

Where were you?

I BAKED

I BAKED BROWNIES.

And yes that was my first time baking.

OMG right, I know.

I don't know if my brownie turned out to be normal or what, since I've never really eaten an "original" brownie before. But mine's sort of like, crusty on the top, then increasingly moist until the bottom. It was a bit too sweet, too much sugar I supposed =S

It's a good snack though. =)
