I admit I sounded a little negative in my summation of 2008 earlier.

There's some positive things in 2008 that I didn't mention this afternoon.

1. Within that three months I've gained three very close comrades to share my pain and laughter with. Without you guys, that three months are an absolute torture to me.
   
2. Besides the three comrades I've also made a lot of new friends, close or not, in this year.
   
3. Finally I know what it's like to be in love, to be loved in return, and to be in a relationship. Although it didn't last long, but I treasure it.
   
4. I've discovered the wonders of J-rock and certain J-metal that now I couldn't live without this genre of music in my life.
   
5. I've learned a lot more lessons and not as naive as I was in 2007.
   

Cheers. 3 more hours. Not that I'll grow another inch after three hours but still.

Shitty 2008

FINALLY, it's New Year's eve.

Really, I can't wait to get past this shitty year already.

As if 2008's not shitty enough, I turned 18 this year as well.

Shitty 18. The age I turn legal. Very nice indeed.

Why, you might ask, this year's so shitty to me?

1. I spent three months of this year offering my service for the nation.
   
2. I didn't get to see my beloved grandmother for the last time within that three month.
   
3. I spent a couple of months applying for overseas scholarship, in the end not getting any.
   
4. I wasted 11 years of my life studying science and working my ass off to further my studies, oversea or not, in the science field, in the end I'm now in an accounting course, something I detest ever since I was in primary school.
   
5. I lost touch with a couple of really good friends.
   

I guess the list can go on, but I'm not really keen in making myself to feel even more depressed. Nor do I wanna make myself sound so pitiful and loathe-able because I'm just reasoning out why I want this year to pass so much.

But from the looks of it, I don't think 2009's going to get better anyway. Maybe slightly better, I don't know, because there are some things I can tell you about 2009 now, if you've not heard it from the news already.

Why 2009 might suck as well:

1. Financial crisis. Major recession. So on, so on. For more information, tune in to nearest financial news. End of story.
   
2. I might continue to fail the accounting papers from the looks of it.
   
3. I might lose touch with a couple of more friends.
   
4. I might not see Mr. Library again.
   
5. Heck, I might be dead for good (if so, I think it might not be such a bad year for me =D).
   

So yeah, let's wave goodbye to sucky 2008 and welcome the possibly even more shitty 2009 tonight.

Saisaki

Went to Saisaki some time ago with Shadows~

It was quite spontaneous lol. Not that I mind anyway XD.

Saisaki's the second Japanese Buffet I went to, the first being Jogoya.

In terms of food quality somehow Jogoya seems fresher than Saisaki (like sushi, sashimi and so on). But in terms of pricing of course Saisaki's on the more advantageous side.

I'm not really happy cuz photographing the food is not allowed.

But I sneaked a few anyway *huh*.

Ice cream. I had mint with chocolate rice,
vanilla with mixed berries, matcha, and vanilla with chocolate ripple.
Add chocolate sauce in any amount you prefer. =D

I will go there again definitely. When I have the money XDXD.

Green Thick Jelly

I'm sick.

No, not that sick. Literally. Sick.

Well not such a big deal anyway.

I'm just tempted to describe some things here to disgust all of you that's all. =)

My phlegm resembles green (not yellowish green, but leaf-green) thick jelly, and comes in dollops of size as a 5 cent.

And the excretion from my runny nose's medium yellow in colour, not as thick as phlegm, but a notch more solid than ordinary excretion.

Oh the joy of sore throat. NOT.

I've lost my voice yesterday night, until today morning.

Then in the afternoon I made myself a cup of iced lemon honey drink.

And it got better in the evening.

Good ol' Vitamin C.

I wonder if you've experience this before: Sometimes you wish that you're sick and when finally when your wish has been granted, all you want is just a healthy body.

Well that happened to me before, twice, in fact.

But still sometimes I'm ignorant and silly and make that wish again and again.

And then finally when I'm sick, I'll wish that I'll become better, again.

Are we all like that?

When we have something, we see another desire, and wished for it. When our wish is granted, suddenly all we wanted is just the normal life.

And when we have our normal life, we wished for that extra again.

The cycle continues.

I hope I can break out of that cycle.

It's out already for the next sem.

My second semester will start on 6th of January, 3pm to 6pm (I mean, what kinda hour is that?? My college to have ZERO timing sense at all).

Anyway, a few things to note:

★ For CNY I have ONE WEEK holiday! Woohoo!~ *Dances on spot*
★ Class merges with Group 16!!
★ And I've been eyeing that hot guy in Group 16 for ages!!
★ Finally! Hot guys in my class!!! ♥♥♥
★ How am I ever going to concentrate on my studies T.T
★ On a packed day, my class will be from 8am to 6pm. OH. MY. GOD.
★ Talk about torturing.
★ Oh never mind, as long as that guy's in the class, I don't mind!! =D
★ I can sleep in on Thursday!!! Class start at 2.30pm every Thurs!!

It's winter day [direct translate].

It's sweet and hot.

Sweet soup made with main ingredients - ginger and coconut hard sugar.

White ones are filled with crushed sugared peanuts.

Red ones are filled with tiny chunks of coconut hard sugar.
