Seriously.

I think this is the first time I miss life in NS after coming back from NS for so many months...

I don't believe that anyone can ever miss that torturing life, but yes now I'm missing it for some unfathomable reason.

I miss living with lotsa people, I miss going through lots of things with lotsa people together, and I miss the complete lack of real-life stress in NS.

My comrades, I miss you guys terribly. Although we're now all separated, I will never forget you guys.

♥ WAFFLE ♥

Wanna know something? I fell in love with the waffle which can be found at the waffle stall behind my college.

So far, it's the MOST PERFECT WAFFLE I've ever had. Seriously.

Why? You might ask. Well, for one thing, this waffle's not like those soggy wet waffle you find in those amateur waffle stall.

This amazing waffle's toasted to a perfectly brown colour, and when you bite into it, the crunchiness of the waffle can be heard by the person standing next to you. Seriously. And the waffle's placed in a brown PAPER BAG (everyone loves paper bag right?), for some reason, placing the waffle in a brown paper bag actually enhance your waffle eating experience XD.

So far I've tried three combination of different fillings. Let's see:

1. Butter and Chocolate

My all time favourite combination. When the waffle's really hot, the butter actually melts INTO the waffle, adding a buttery mild salty scent into the waffle, and when this buttery waffle combined with the melting chocolate sauce, it is a combination which will make anybody swoon. If you're a chocoholic, this combination will make you faint and your soul will escape from your body and take a trip to heaven before you head for another bite XD (I know I'm exaggerating but it's seriously GOOD).

2. Honey and Blueberry

This combination's perfect when you feel like having something tangy and light to your tongue. The natural sweetness of honey, combined with the blueberry jam which YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE BLUEBERRIES IN IT (for the waffle stall I'm talking about) is an absolute combination which will make me go happy for the rest of the day. When you bite into the waffle, suddenly everything in your life looks more colourful and pretty.

3. Peanut Butter and Chocolate

Ahh~ The INDULGENCE. That's what I call this combination. When you feel like you had a BAD day, this will cheer you up straightaway. Who can ever say no to peanut butter and chocolate?? Plus, in my honest opinion, this combination is best eaten when it's a rainy day (don't ask me why, I have no idea XD). And when the melted peanut butter and chocolate flows in your mouth, you'll know the magic of it. XD.

I know, I'm so evil by making all of you hungry and start missing waffle like crazy. But my love for waffle's just too overwhelming that I HAVE to record it here.

Oh Man

I just realized that I've only posted TWO POSTS for this week up until now (exclude this post please XD). I can *almost* feel my blog page staring at me in this really begging puppy dog eyes (if it ever has eyes, that is).

Hectic? Not exactly. Busy? Not exactly as well.

Am just too lazy to move that's all XD *gets bashed up*.

AND OMG SHADOWS JUST GOT ME A COPY OF FOOLS MATE!! *Lands Shadows with excessive amount of wet kisses and squeeze her till her eyes pop out XD*

Ok I know for Gazette it's just Reita's personal interview but whatevs the most important thing is I HAVE 12 PAGES OF ARISU 9 in it!

By the way, I know Dark Knight is good and I simply "have to watch it". Like some of you puts it (you know who you are XD). Don't worry, I'm going to watch it OK, just not this week cuz I have this test on next Friday X___X.

Don't ask me why I have test every other week. It's this wicked evil weird schedule which packed everything into our year like some kind of sardine in a can. If you ask me, be prepared to listen to my rants and struts. But I'm sure you know better which option is suitable for you XD.

And besides I *think* I'm beginning to like college life. In a way. Kind of. Although I have to be in college for like 8am to 5pm EVERY SINGLE DAY (ok maybe except for some odd days) except for Sunday (like this week), somehow I don't feel all that depressed or anything.

Maybe one of the main reasons is that I have a very friendly class? And besides, I'm mixing around freely without bonds. Tsk tsk tsk, typical aquarians you might say but that's what I'm made up of. Freedom's in my BLOOD.

Anyway, that's it for now.

So Far...

Some of you ask me: "So how's college life huh??"

And now, I finally have time to answer all of you.

In college, you feed yourself. It's the place you start to GROW UP.

If you have difficulties in trying to be independent in school last time, sorry to say, be prepared to suffer in college.

Not for me though. Well, not that much anyway, at least things are still IN CONTROL.

I've seen some who lost control over their college life.

It's about balancing and taking control, but apparently some of us got spoon-fed for so many years, they simply got spun off the track.

Okay, enough scaring you all. What I'm trying to say is, all of us will need some time to adjust to college life, long or short, that will depend on you yourself.

So, is all that good enough as the answer? Because frankly speaking I don't even know what am I talking about XDXDXD *runs* XD.

I think Accounting's slowly burning off my ability to write/say something that makes sense.

Now, the words that are floating around in my head are DEBIT, CREDIT, ASSETS, FINANCIAL STATEMENT, LIABILITIES, and so on.

But hey, I *love* Cost Accounting.

It's like Add Maths, without the hard part LOL.

I like the Management papers as well.

Wake Up Call

You wanna know some real ironic and funneh stuff?

Every morning, I'll be waked at 630am sharp by my mobile's alarm which is the chorus from alice nine.'s song "Q".

The chorus goes like this:

"I don't know myself
I'm fed up, You'll be fed up with me
Can't you hear my voice?
like a crying baby, I'm calling you"

So in my dreams I'll mumble "So you're fed up eh? Hello, I have to wake up at 630am every morning and then walk for 20 min EVERY SINGLE working day, who can be more fed up than meh?!?!"

Then I'll wake up out of the ultimate annoyance of this fact XD.

But what can be more blissful than being waked by Shou's velvety voice every morning?!?! *Back to fangirling XD*

Q is the most fantastic wake up ringtone EVER. Especially for dead-sleepers like yours truly over here. Thanks to Shou and Saga shouting their heart out every morning waking me from my delicious slumber.

Yesterday

I was sick like hell.

Mostly vomiting.

Luckily I started vomiting after I went to college, NOT on the way to college *thank god somehow*.

And luckily before I vomit somehow I managed to get to the toilet first, thus not making a huge gross scene in the classroom *thank god somehow again*.

Let me tell you what did I vomit:

• 1st to 3rd time: The fried mee siam I ate yesterday morning.
  
• 3rd to 5time: All the water I drank that morning.
  
• 5th to 7th time: All the saliva I've swallowed into the stomach.
  
• 7th to 8th time: THE GREEN BILE from the stomach (seriously it's GREEN in colour).
  

I know, it's gross, but it gives you a vivid picture of how painful it is for me to vomit.

Anyway, I think I've vomited about 12 times yesterday. My stomach keep CONTRACTING and CONTRACTING even though there is NOTHING LEFT for me to continue to vomit. The painfulness of it...damn.

The doctor said I got food poisoning. =_=ll.

I knew it's because I forgot to put that mee siam into the fridge on Sunday night. But whatevs.

In the end, I missed two classes and slept for the whole afternoon.

Thank goodness for the anti-vomit pill. If not I'll continue to vomit till it reaches 50+ times I think.

ALL HAIL TEH ANTI-VOMIT PILL (or whoever who created you)!!!

盆踊り 2008

Alright, I'm here to deliver my experience of the Bon Odori 2008 as promised. I arrived at Matsushita Stadium at about 5.30pm and there were a lot of people there already. According to Shadows, there were an estimation of about 30,000 people and 40+ food stalls in this festival. But to tell the truth I don't think there were 30,000 people in fact it's way MORE than that. Seriously, and the weirdest thing is, there were more Chinese than Japanese in there. However I still could hear Japanese being spoken here and there whenever I walked to. Bon Odori 2008 ended at 9.40pm just now and now I'm totally exhausted.

In case some of you do not know what is Bon Odori, it is a festival to let us express our gratitude towards our ancestors (for the Japanese, that is). So you could probably tell why I'm so mad and furious when I see some people, instead of wearing yukata, they were wearing Harajuku style costume and imitating hard-core-black-from-head-to-toe J-rockers. I'm sorry to say but I think that these people are IGNORANT AND BRAINLESS. Come on, don't you have any idea what you're attending?? If you're not wearing yukata, then wear something casual or something. NOBODY HERE WANTS TO SEE YOU SHOWING OFF HOW WELL YOU DRESS IN HARAJUKU STYLE. In fact, I were glaring at them and portrayed my feeling of "I-look-down-on-you" whenever I see one. (If you don't know what is "Harajuku style" go to Image Google and google it).

Anyway, let's continue, after I've arrived of course the first thing I do is --- find food. Hahaa. But then, somehow I don't think there's 40+ food stalls. I thought they were about 20+ there at most. Plus, the food's all so expensive X___X. Most of them were like 5 bucks and over for an item X__X.

So after I made my survey and comparison, the first thing I bought is Japanese curry rice (I've always wanted to know how it tastes like), then I bought takoyaki (the most expensive ever, plus I waited for half an hour because the line is so freaking long). Before I bought those I got myself a mango slush ice (I ordered orange actually but whatever). Then I got a soft shell crab temaki (something like a california roll but instead of crabmeat stick its got a piece of fried soft shell crab in there) (♥o♥)~

Did I mention that Sushi King moved the whole sushi train (the conveyor belt which rotate the sushis around) to here in Matsushita Stadium? Yeah, I'm not kidding, they did. But of course the train is a small one unlike those huge ones you see in any Sushi King chain restaurant. Which sets me off wondering, why in the world people would even have Sushi King here? I mean, we can walk into the nearest Sushi King and eat enjoyably instead of standing here on the grass having our poor quality sushi right?

Believe me now?

The stalls were all racing against each other to get more and more customers. Time and efficiency are two important factors here. Yet, I could see people lining up (as long as 3 METRE) for takoyaki and the complimentary drink Yakult. Beard Papa set up a stall here too you know? But I don't think the cream puffs sale went well since the price was ridiculously marked up. Besides, you'll get to see a lot of "only" on those price board. $1 only. $5 only. $100 ONLY. (Of course no food is $100 but I'm just emphasizing how they misuse the word "only").

This is just a small part of the crowd.

I ♥ this matcha ice-cream. There're sweet red bean paste in the middle!! LOVE!

Then, the bon odori dance started. There were a stage in the middle of the grass field. And on the stage there were a bunch of those traditional drums and teenage Japanese guys (not to mention some of them being incredibly hot lol) hitting the drums, and there were people wearing yukatas surrounding the drums, dancing.

At first all of us just watched how the people on the stage danced.

Then slowly...a huge circle of people formed around the stage and followed the dance.

I can't explain the whole thing, it's something you gotta watch to know what I'm talking about here.

And at first I was like "no-way-I'm-gonna-dance-with-you-people". XD. But you know what happened? When I was making my way out of the crowd of people dancing I got STUCK in the MIDDLE and could do nothing else but dance along with them =_____=lll.

It was all fun in the end though ( ´ー｀) ~




And then after the first round of dance, I got myself a bowl of Sanuki Udon. The soup's brown in colour and I totally heart the udon. I finished the whole thing until there were not a drop of it left in the bowl. d(≧∀≦)b~~


I totally felt like putting up Shadows pics in here to prove that how "absorbed" she is when she's dancing until she couldn't see me standing just behind her watching and laughing away happily. But I got a feeling that she might kill me if I post it up XD.

Overall, I'd say that Bon Odori this year's quite a successful one. また来年を!!

One Hell of a Morning

I AM NEVER EVER GOING TO SLEEP AT MORE THAN 1.30AM ON A COLLEGE DAY.

I'm serious here.

I know I can do it. OTL.

I know, being a night owl since 7 years ago until now, this is a DRASTIC CHANGE for me. But I have to do it. If not it would happen all over again.

Wanna know what happened?

My class starts at 8am.

Well, yesterday I was finishing my assignment at the late minute and went to sleep at 2.45am. THEN, the alarm clock rings, which I SOMEHOW GOT UP, TURNED OFF THE ALARM CLOCK, AND TURNED ON THE LIGHTS, AND WENT BACK TO SLEEP WITHOUT MY CONSCIOUS MIND REGISTERING WHAT I DID!!! IT'S TOTALLY DONE IN AN UNCONSCIOUS MODE BECAUSE I CAN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!

That, was the deadliest mistake I could ever make.

Then...when I was sleeping...I heard my noisy "Brilliant" D'espairsRay's ringtone and crawled out of my bed...and read the message...

"Yvonne! Where r u? Cant wake up?"

...

...

*Eye pupils began to enlarge...*

OMGWTFOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!

*IMMEDIATELY CHANGED, TOOK MY BACKPACK, AND RUSHED OUT*

(Yea...I didn't go to the toilet and brush my teeth...>_<)

*Waited 3 seconds for the ever slow elevator to come up*

I HATE college life.

I don't care about anybody else, but mine certainly isn't a good one.

Why??

Because instead of studying and learning, I'm doing those things which takes up a considerable amount of my time, money and petrol to do it.

Then what's the point of going to college when I'm not learning??

Why should I, instead of the college's administration, MANAGE the things that needed to be done for US, THE CUSTOMERS, to EASE OUR LIVES AND PROVIDE A BETTER QUALITY OF BUSINESS for us???

I'm infuriated. No, it's way more than that. I can't even find the suitable word to describe my level of anger towards the college system.

THIS FREAKING COLLEGE SYSTEM NEED A REVOLUTIONARY AND THOROUGH CHANGE.

And I'm not surprised that some of the MOST SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE on Earth now are actually drop-outs from college. I think there could be a reason that they too, HAD ENOUGH OF THIS RIDICULOUS, NON-COMMUNICATING, UNDEVELOPED SYSTEM.

Because I believe you would know that I would fangirl over them like never before.

So don't.

Ok, forget about it. I can very well control myself from screaming all over the blog how fantastic they look.

So, I'm going to give some opinions instead of screams and shouts here and there *getting mature XD*.

First of all, Saga shouldn't wear that red outfit. He's enough hot and sexy already.

Secondly, this PV reminds me of Ayabie's style. Please I hope this is just RAINBOWS. I really don't want to see alice nine. going to Ayabie/SuG style.

Thirdly, Hiroto is the perfect live example of looking cute (as in the teddy bear kind of cute) and utterly hot at the same time. I wouldn't want to tell you the evidence because I knew I'd lose control but if you watch his solo you would get what I mean.

Fourthly, I totally love the starting of the song. The starting is SUPER BRILLIANT. Exactly my taste. The rest goes well but weirdly I think the chorus is kinda a minus point? I just don't think Shou should yell it that way you know. There must be a better way in expressing that line somehow.

Fifthly, I really want to ask Shou this question "Do you have this obsession over CATCHY pants?". First it's gold metallic pants, now it's leopard prints. Oh whatever.

Sixth, Hiroto's solo is fab. Oooh the way he pull the last string off in his solo, yummy.

Trust and Responsibility

Trust and responsibility. From the mention of these two, one might not be able to link these two seemingly random words.

But if you try to ponder how do these two can be connected, you might notice that actually trust and responsibility are greatly linked and highly dependant on each other.

How? You might ask. For one, the greater sense of responsibility of a person, the stronger people find the confidence to trust this person.

When a person has a higher sense of responsibility, he fulfills every task he's given, be a contributive citizen, completes his social responsibilities and make this world a better place.

But sadly, being responsible can be the toughest thing for one to do. That is why there is so many failures in this world, simply because they're being irresponsible, not only toward others, but toward THEMSELVES as well.

If all of us can be a little bit more responsible, this world can be so much a better place to live, because when we know that everyone is responsible, thus we have the confidence to trust more people.

We cannot trust a person because we were afraid of the unknowns, for fear of failure in carrying out relatively important task, but if the person is responsible (no matter in what context), will we be facing this problem anymore?

Exactly, we wouldn't have to face this kind of problems.

Humans are complicated beings. But what distinguishes one human from the next is their ability to think and the quality in the personality.

You can be a low grade human if you choose to be ignorant, irresponsible, do not give a damn about the world and care for others.

Or, you can choose to be a better, high grade human when you tried to be responsible, be more considerate, and do what you're supposed to do.

it seems like more and more people are asking me what is the meaning of "orz/OTL" since I've been using them so often lately *text emoticon obsession XD*

Orientation

Okay, I'm gonna spare you all those crap but all I can say is, what's supposed to happen on Orientation Day happened. That's it. XD.

The Orientation's from 10a.m. till afternoon about 2.xxp.m. After that me and my newfound friends looked for our classroom for about half an hour. Seriously. But at last we found it so tomorrow we wouldn't have to look for the classroom in a rush =).

And can you believe that there is NO COLLEGE TOUR on Orientation Day?? Yes I can't believe it either. Reason? Too many students. I mean, wth?? Come on man, other college which has over 900+ accounting freshmen did the tour as well but not us?? Whatevs.

OK, I'll forget about the college tour. So naturally I expected a college map for us so that we wouldn't get lost. Guess what? There is NO college map in the orientation kit.

I guess they wanted us to EXPLORE the place ourselves like how Harry and Hermione and Ron did in HOGWARTS.

Hm, I wonder when will I find a secret chamber with three-headed dogs in it.

Clearly, this college has some dark corners or rooms which we can't ever know what is it.

And of course, without college tour and college map, it's a fantastic place for the direction-sense-is-zero me to get lost.
